Digital Strategy • Usability • Analytics • Accessibility

I work on large, complex websites where clarity, usability, and accountability matter.

Most of my work has been in public-sector and enterprise environments, where digital decisions affect real people and real outcomes. I focus on making web systems easier to use, easier to manage, and easier to trust.

Much of my work has been done in regulated environments where examples can’t be shared publicly. I’m happy to talk through projects, approaches, and outcomes in conversation.

What I do

Web strategy and oversight

I help teams make practical decisions about how their websites are structured, maintained, and governed. I focus on systems that hold up over time, not quick fixes.

Analytics and measurement

I manage digital metrics and reporting for multi-site environments. When analytics tools change or disappear, I adjust measurement approaches so teams can still understand what’s happening.

  • Traffic and engagement analysis
  • Power BI dashboards and reporting
  • Data troubleshooting using Databricks
  • Plain-language explanations for non-technical stakeholders

Usability and UX guidance

I review ideas early, identify usability risks, and help teams work within established patterns and templates. My approach is practical and grounded in what works at scale.

Web development and content systems

I work directly in enterprise CMS platforms and support the full publishing lifecycle. I also handle complex needs that require technical support and coordination with developers.

  • Build and publish pages across environments
  • Manage files and backend content
  • Support complex tables, visualizations, and scripts
  • Bridge between content owners and technical teams

Accessibility and compliance

Accessibility is part of my everyday work. I help ensure web pages, documents, and media meet federal accessibility requirements, including Section 508. I treat accessibility as a shared responsibility—not a final checklist.

Background

My career spans higher education, consulting, and federal service. I’ve worked in both contractor and government roles, which gives me a practical understanding of how large organizations operate under real constraints.

Earlier in my career, I supported federal systems as a contractor in a cleared environment, including work associated with the FBI. That experience shaped how I approach governance, security, and accountability in digital systems.

Experience highlights

  • Supported large-scale public-sector and enterprise web platforms
  • Worked in regulated and security-conscious environments
  • Managed and maintained multi-site ecosystems (public sites and intranets)
  • Partnered with consulting teams supporting federal agencies
  • Taught web development and information systems in higher education

Education

  • B.B.A., Business Information Systems
  • M.S., Instructional Technology

How I work

I focus on clear structure, consistent patterns, and long-term stability. I’m comfortable working with real constraints— policy, compliance requirements, platform rules, and tight timelines.

What you can expect from me

  • Clear, direct communication
  • Plain language and practical recommendations
  • Respect for governance and standards
  • Decisions grounded in evidence and user needs
